Otitis externa diffusa (Schwimmbad-Otitis) und Otitis externa circumscripta
Der am häufigsten in verantwortliche Erreger ist Pseudomonas aeruginosa und ist hauptursächlich für die sogenannte Schwimmbad-Otitis.
Zweithäufigster Erreger und hauptursächlich für eine Infektion von Haarbälgen (Otitis externa circumscripta) ist Staphylococcus aureus.
